Junghans was found in 1861 in Schramberg, Germany. In the early 20th century, Junghans was the largest watch manufacture in the world. They built more than 3.000.000 watches per year. Todays largest watch manufacturer, Rolex, does not even produce half of that per year.
Back in the 20th century, Doxa was well known for their elegant dress watches. Today Doxa is only known for their sporty dive watches. Doxa does not even produce dress watches anymore, what makes the vintage dress timepieces even more special.
Roberta was a german watch company found in 1949. They mainly built mechanical timepieces until the 1970s. That is because the famous quartz crisis began in the 70s. In 1973 Roberta released the very first analog quartz watch for the german market. Unfortunately they did not survive the quartz crisis. The company closed their doors in 1982.
